The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation Ltd (TNSTC) has released the Apprentice Recruitment 2025 notification for 1,588 posts. In collaboration with MTC Chennai and SETC Tamil Nadu, TNSTC is offering a one-year Apprenticeship training program under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.
This recruitment is open for fresh graduates and diploma holders (2021–2025 batch) hailing from Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate Apprentices (Engg/Tech): First Class Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Full-time Diploma in relevant engineering discipline from State Board/University.
- Non-Engineering Graduates: Full-time degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Humanities (BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, BBM, BCA etc.) from UGC-approved institutions.
Additional Rules
- Year of Passing: 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 only.
- Experience: Not eligible if already undergone apprenticeship or have 1+ years of work experience.
- Domicile: Must be from Tamil Nadu.
- Reservation: As per Govt. norms (SC/ST/OBC/PwD). Valid certificates required.
- Physical Standards: As per Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
- Age Limit: As per Apprenticeship Rules.
Stipend
- Graduate Apprentices (Engineering & Non-Engineering): ₹9,000/month
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: ₹8,000/month
Training Period
- Duration: 1 year (No job guarantee after completion).
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on marks in qualifying exam. (Handled by BOAT (SR)).
- Email Intimation: Shortlisted candidates will get an email.
- Certificate Verification: To be held at TNSTC Trichy Region Office (tentatively in 2nd week of November 2025).
- Final List: Published on NATS portal under BOAT (Southern Region) Apprenticeship News.
