About the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS)
Established in 1956, the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, was initially known as the Demographic Training and Research Centre (DTRC). The institute operates under the joint sponsorship of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, the Government of India, and the United Nations.
Re-designated as IIPS in 1985, it now functions as a โDeemed Universityโ under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The institute is a regional hub for research and training in population studies for the ESCAP region.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Mandatory: Masterโs Degree with at least 55% marks.
- Desirable:
- M.Com / MBA (Finance) / ICWA / CA / SAS or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounts or finance management in a University or Government office.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a test and/or interview.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified by the institute.
IIPS reserves the right to conduct an online test and prepare a merit list based on academic qualifications and performance.
