Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: No upper age limit for SC/ST/SCA/BCM/BC/MBC&DNC categories (one-time measure)
- Age Relaxation: As per government rules
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed HSC/Plus Two with Biology or Botany and Zoology.
- Must have passed Tamil Language as a subject at SSLC level.
- Should possess a Two-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male)/Health Inspector/Sanitary Inspector Course Certificate from the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
One-Time Measure Relaxation
As per G.O.(Ms).No.443, Health and Family Welfare (L1) Department dated 14.10.2025, candidates with a one-year Health Inspector/Sanitary Inspector course from a government-recognized or university-affiliated institution with equivalent syllabus are also eligible.

Selection Process
The selection will be based on:
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – Objective type subject paper.
- Incentive Marks for COVID-19 duty service.
- Reservation and Communal Rotation as per government norms.
No oral test will be conducted.

Important Notes:
- Marks from the Tamil Test are not counted for ranking.
